Cheer for yourself and you won't ever regret it!
In the process of finding the self.

The Aftershocks
medium.com

I was asked to create a .gif of a house interior during an earthquake. The article chronicles the controversial aftermath of the devastating quake that happened in L’Aquila, Italy in 2009. I wanted to capture the movement of the “tremors” before the full-on earthquake, although this tremor is infinite, never resolving.
This image and the all the animation was made in Photoshop. thanks AD Erich Nagler!

reoccurring-thoughts:

I think the saddest part about losing someone is being able to feel them drifting away. Being able to tell by the way they talk to you or text you that you’re not of importance anymore. You can literally feel them slipping through your fingertips, not being able to do a single thing.

barbie:

When your child plays with Barbie, do you spot everyday life in the play?
While their imaginations and creativity stretch so far when playing, I do see a lot of our usual routines and way of life peeking through.
It’s play imitating life.
For instance, this was overheard one day while the twins were playing with Barbie:
“No Sophia, Ken cannot drive the car. Ever. Mom always drives”
And it’s true, being the stay-at-home Mom, I‘m always driving! To and from school, shopping, activities, errands.
I didn’t realize this before, but the kids are always in the car with me – while I drive. My husband taking the wheel when we are all together, is a rare occurrence.
If you listen, watch and play Barbies with your kids – I’m sure you’ll discover something that makes a bigger impact on their life than you would think.

Whether it be crazy out-of-this-world scenarios or maybe just play imitating life - What do you hear and feel when you play with Barbie?
